Our Basic Blueprint Reading class for Manufacturing is an entry-level course that teaches students how to interpret shop blueprints and comprehend the information needed to fabricate parts and perform assembly operations. This course will provide students with a basic introduction to understanding and interpreting basic manufacturing blueprints. We start with the proper way to read manufacturing blueprints and build comprehensive knowledge that students can apply to their work.
This course is designed to benefit many different roles in the industry including machinists, tool and die makers, metrologists, and many more! The training is 8 hrs and consists of detailed instruction, classroom discussion, and hands-on scenarios to help students fully comprehend reading drawings. We do encourage students to bring their own drawings that they use in their roles, with permission from their companies.
